I’ve become really careful of expressing a different opinion from the popular on here after someone called me an aberration for saying I thought Park Shin-hye and Lee Jong-seok didn’t have chemistry.

Please don’t hold yourself I really enjoy reading minority opinions.

About Shin-hye and Jong-suk in Pinochio, same. They’re rather akward I’d say.

I agree. I always found them rather lukewarm…

Lol, gonna be real here and say that I totally agree with your first sentence and I remind myself to do the same on here, down votes be damned. I up-voted your comment and then read your second sentence and was like, “Whaaaaaaat?” Pinocchio was one of Park Shin-hye’s best works and I thought her and Lee Jong-seok were super compatible and cute together!

I do agree about Park Shin-hye’s performance in Pinocchio, definitely one of her best. However, watching her with Lee Jong-seok was all kinds of weird and boring for me. Possibly because I was in the phase where every facial expression he made made me want to put a fist through my screen.

Omg! So your issue was really with Lee Jong-seok, in general. Interesting. I always thought he was a pretty good actor. Unless your problem wasn’t with his acting… oh, but you said “was,” so you don’t feel that way anymore, right?

I hated his acting until W. He always seemed like he was overdoing it and I was annoyed with his extraness.

Interesting. I didn’t watch W in its entirety, but I did catch most of the eps with my mom when she watched it, and I thought he was good there–as he usually is, to me. Gotta admit, I never felt that he was “extra” or overdoing it, which I’m glad because that’s definitely a turnoff. To each their own. 🙂

It’s not Shin-hye’s acting, to me she’s kinda awkward with Jong-suk who has more chemistry with his brother (Kyun-sang) and even Young-kwang. I think Jong-suk more click with male co-stars than female. Well I’ve only watched two of his dramas though but that’s the impression I’ve got so far ☺✌

He had an amazing chemistry with Han Hyo-joo in W. I tried watching him in I Hear Your Voice and I thought he was so over the top in that drama that I got turned off. Plus, I didn’t think he had chemistry with Lee Bo-young either.

I see what you mean. I think that’s just the vibe that she gives off. Like, she’s always kinda been like that. Awkward, that is. At least onscreen. She’s got a lot more personality irl (which I’m actually glad to find in her recent characters, so I’m happy). That said, I totally felt their compatibility and chemistry throughout the show. I think he was definitely one of the more suitable co-stars that she acted with. I thought they were quite natural. But again, to each their own. I think it’s interesting that we have differing opinions.

Interesting, really 😊 Because to me Shin-hye’s really good with Kim Woo-bin in Heirs than her pairing with Lee Min-ho or Lee Jong-suk. I don’t watch many Pinocchio bts but did see a lot of Heirs’ and I saw how it was totally different the off screen interactions Shin-hye had with Min-ho and Woo-bin. The later was a lot more caring to his co-stars therefore they’re really comfortable when doing scenes.

i agree, don’t hold yourself back, everyone differs in their taste and opinion and you shouldn’t apologize for it 🙂

Don’t let one cranky pants prevent you for expressing your opinion here. As long as you’re doing it in a constructive way, ALL opinions should be respected. Just because you have a differing view doesn’t make it wrong.

Yes. I often find myself holding back too. I’ve found that quite a few people are simply too set in their ways to handle a different opinion.
