the ending of FMW #10 is just about perfect, but my absolutely favorite moment in this episode was this one #squeee

I was like, “Omg, that means that if they were both sober, something could’ve gone down. Omomo.” I mean, they were already at the “Oops, We Did It” (lol, that name) motel, so there’s that.

heheheh yes! and he was just SO SERIOUS about it. another glimpse of DM as a man a grownup not just a fun guy buddy. i feel we didnt really see that until the last ep, where he finds AR after the fight and is so earnest+tender with her, and we see it again here–where he’s obviously aware of what he could do and would like to do, but he also seems to realize that if he moves too “suddenly” she’ll “scatter”; that he needs to wade in, carefully, if he wants to AR to acknowledge her own feelings. i just love it. i love that he has this side to him and PSJ does such a good job portraying that.

Yes, I’m totally loving how Dong-man’s being all sorts of cute and swoony with Ae-ra–especially in these past couple of eps. Ae-ra did ask if they were having a “some” kind of relationship (which, I thought was really cute that she did notice that something was different about them and brought it up, rather than pretending she didn’t feel the change), so I liked that Dong-man kinda answered her question in the last ep by telling her that they should stop taking detours and date officially. You see, what I also thought about his “Alcohol saved you yesterday” statement was that if they were gonna do something together, he’d like for both of them to be alert, aware, and most importantly, sober, so that they were both on the same page and knew what was going on. They may tease each other and give each other a hard time sometimes, but there’s no doubt these two respect each other and wouldn’t do anything to hurt the other.

yes. I think you are spot on. I took “Alcohol saved you” to mean the same thing. That even though HE knew what HE wanted, he wasn’t going to push himself (physically or emotionally) on her when she wasn’t totally sober and conscious and agreeable. Their respect for each other really shines through in this show—and also the fact that they are both great people. I mean, he is a genuinely good guy for having that standard.

          Yes! Exactly! 👌🏼👍🏼👏🏼

These two are great individuals–they’re genuinely good people, they’re fun, they respect others (and themselves!), and more, so they’ll become even stronger together. 💪🏼

it took me a while to actually process what that meant. But when it sunk in I was like ” Give a tissue! I need to wipe away the invisible tears.”
He’s such a gentleman. And in the recaps (don’t remember which one), they mentioned that Dong Man is actually really smart and sensible when it comes to Ae Ra. That scene confirmed the theory. Me Is Happy!
