Haven’t watched it and not planning to, but man they are really taking every romcom cliche and playing them 100% straight aren’t they? *sigh* I would be less bothered by HJ/WS if all of their romantic scenes together weren’t hopelessly cliche and humorless.
Hehe, maybe skip todays episode then, which were rom-com heaven for HJ/WS shippers. I guess I am happily relishing at all the familiar cliches, especially when they get subverted by the fact that we are supposed to think HJ is JH’s dad. I am hoping for a twist on the Vader reveal soon, like I AM YOUR FATHER BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW! 🙈
Unless the show stops focusing on the romance and starts being as funny as the first half was again I probably won’t be watching anymore. I’m just going to follow the recaps for now. It’s not like I really have a problem with romcoms, it’s just this drama was promoted more as a sitcom and the first half of the show was like that and I LOVED it, so I’m just really disappointed to see it change course to something more conventional, especially when I feel that the lovelines are not particularly well-developed here to begin with. There are many dramas out there that do cliche romcom better than this drama that I’d rather watch if I was in the mood for that kind of thing.
I think you better give up on this show. I was also expected a sitcom,but the moment they ruined this drama with some crush by Ji Hoon, and that boy is getting emotionally with his crush, I knew this is going to follow the standard route of love triangle. They should have never created a plot of Ji Hoon has a crush on his best friend from the beginning, they should have make everyone are enjoying their friendship more. Or they should have make Ji Hoon moved on after his confession. As a result, this drama made Hyun Jae to like her as well, to make things more complicated.

I’ve changed my mind. I’d be a damsel in distress any time if Hyun Jae would wait with an umbrella for me. *throws kdrama principles out the window*

I wasn’t planning to watch for some romance in this drama , but if it is the romance between these two, I’ll be gladly be on the ship 💕💕❤❤
