        And then in a moment of vulnerability, he heartbreakingly reveals that what set him off was the shape of the candles. They remind him of acupuncture needles and of the time he had to go for treatments after a sword injury as a teenager. He blames this incident as being the cause of his father choosing his brother as successor.

        I’ve apparently watched one too many dramas.

          😂😂😂😂😂 During the night, he has vivid dreams envisioning the man who gave him his treatment tormenting him with the needles. He grabs a sword and stabs him. But the man turns out to be his eunuch with a cup of tea to help him with his troubled sleep. He wanders wearily out of the room still smelling strongly of the cake mixture he had thrown earlier. This irritated him even further. It smelt like the cake that he had on the last birthday before his mother was killed.

            And in the middle of the night, he gave the royal command to assemble all acupuncturists and bakers in the kingdom. One by one, they will be beheaded until his acupuncturist as a kid and the true baker of his birthday cake reveal themselves.
