Can I hate Se Hee’s mom? That feels so like my ex MIL. Or may be it is my ever talking #BTIOLF

Ji-ho’s mom was so right when she told her what her in-laws really meant when they kept calling her “nice”.

Exactly. And she is so sweetly manipulative. I mean she is not asking her to work directly even once. But just dropping the visible hints.

That was my take. The mom endured the same thing so now she gets to pass the baton to her daughter-in-law. What I didn’t like were all the comments regarding females and homemaking. Like a man is unable to do chores or cook. They are just as capable!!!!

When Se-hee said he would clean up the dishes and his mom told him to leave I rolled my eyes so hard.

But it’s okay because he’ll get a chance to do his labor next episode lol.

Didn’t the aunt say something like “she’ll look down on you” or something to that effect for doing the dishes. I don’t know what she is talking about. If my hypothetical man offered I would think he was a savior! I hate dishes the most! Hahahaha

I think she did. And yes, why would anyone look down on someone for doing dishes?!

Every time his mom said something like “That should be left for people like us who know what we’re doing!” I don’t blame her exactly because she’s a product of the society she was raised in, but times are a-changing, lady! At least Se-hee hasn’t internalized that kind of thinking. He actually tries to help and she doesn’t let him, which I think I would actually find insulting if I were him. Like what, you think I’m not capable of cleaning dishes because of my gender? So dumb!

I have heard this so many times in the family that I just wanted to shake the character
