When did WYWS become boring? It technically isn’t but I barely have any desire to watch it. I just finished ep 24 after much struggle cuz I don’t want another show added to my “dropped list” and that too a LJS show (I even finished Doc Strange!) but really- where did a show almost perfect on paper go wrong?

Good acting- check (Suzy’s best till now),
interesting premise- check,
brilliant character actors- check
SO what is missing?
Is it the execution?
Or is it just me?

It’s not just you. I’m not sure if I can say it’s boring. It just doesn’t have that pull.

Definitely not just you. I feel it might be the directing. It doesn‘t pull me in like IHYV and Pinocchio did. Jo Soo-Won (❤️) knew how to get me right in the feels and draw out the writer‘s scenes in the most enjoyable way. With this director it‘s all polished and beautiful but it doesn‘t have my heart.

Ah good.. so there are others like me!
IHYV and Pinocchio are in my Top 10! That is why I had such high hopes from this show!

I also am finishing the last 2 so as not to add to my shameful procrastinators list. But it’s a thing I do even when I’m more engaged so it may not be the dramas fault. I actually like quite a bit about it. I haven’t seen LJS trip over himself this much ever and its great.

I like it enough when I watch it but as soon as I finish one episode (or even a half episode) I don’t get that desire to click on the next one!

Same for me too! I even downloaded episode 29 but when the recaps came here up at db i haven’t given a second thought to actually watching the episodes. Watching it seems a drag now!

As you can see now, it’s not just you. I stopped watching after episode 12 (in the half hour episode format). Something was off. It started out really good, very interesting premise, I loved the characters at the beginning. But somehow later on I just couldn’t understand the main leads. Because in one episode Jae Chan goes through length to avoid kissing her as per his dream, with that long monologue about not wanting anyone to rely on him? Something like that. And then the next thing we know there he was being overly protective of Hong Joo. Like what happened? That’s why I just couldn’t get onboard with them being all too lovey dovey because I am mostly confused why JC is all of a sudden like that. It may be the editing? Or the directing? Not too sure.

It was weird but sometimes when you pinpoint and recognize the problem for what it is, you can more easily move past it. But since they didn’t show that we will never know. Lol

One would never know now.. It seemed more like saying no to ‘destiny’ and then the next day shrugging and going- it’s my destiny, can’t run away now..

Yeah. It’s pretty inconsistent. If they wanted that cute almost tip-toe kiss they didn’t have to give him such a dramatic reason for avoiding it. Cause honestly I’m all for a women asserting herself, but she was rushing things a little
