GBC had been perfect so far until the writer went makjang mode with the car accident. The accident scene doesn’t make sense a bit when Jin Joo wanted to save that child, but stand there stupidly without moving with that child wrapped around her hand. Did she think that by hugging that child, she could avoid him from accident? If Ban-do could manage to push them on time, then Jin Joo definitely could save herself and that child by just running forward. I would love this drama so much more if the writer just made a simple scene where Ban-do just hugged Jin Joo when she cried and she apologized to him for neglecting his feelings all the while.
for me the worst part of that scene was that the person driving the car had enough time to honk the horn multiple times but not to step on the breaks or swerve

Yes! This bothered me so much too! I really thought it would be a close call but no one would get hit.

If the writer went makjang mode with the penultimate episode, I hate to think of what she’ll do with the episode finale, pffft
