So. I love Ms. Ko. I love her. Seeing her feels like we’re getting a glimpse of Suji 8 years in the future. No wonder Ji Ho loves her immedatiely. Shoot now wonder I love her immediately—Suji is my favorite character. I also continue to love Won Seok. I actually thought I was beginning to like (that’s too strong of a word) Ho Rang until that guy came and picked her up. There’s no way this is her first or second time meeting up with him. Who comes running to give you a ride with all of your stuff the first or second (hell or third or fourth) time you meet them? This is a drama so maybe this is their first time meeting but they have certainly had more than that conversation that Won Seok read.

In other news: LEE MIN KI IS FREAKING HOT. And I love watching his face in this drama. The way his lips curved up when he met Ji Ho on the bus was just about everything. And the full fledged smile when she asked to kiss him. Or when he added to his notes that she snores. KILL ME YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMAN.

    LOVE YOUR COMMENTS!!!!!
    And…
When Jiho opens her eyes and sees Sehee looking straight at her in just 10 cm distance, I’m like squeaking like crazy!!! I love that the drama gets the 2 girls being friends first, they sure have good chemistry.
Both Jiho and Sehee are FREAKING HOT together!!!!! Their kisses… They just sit down and play with mandarins and I was like “what will happen next?”. Because it’s HER first time… girl sure acts purely on her (fangirl) instinct, cos she says YES and MORE all the time!!!! Haha I love her so much!
When Suji and Mr. Ma together, I’m loving them more and more each ep. Suji is all I have ever want myself to grow up to!
Horang is basically me in reality, tbh, I don’t love myself all the time, I guess that’s just human. That’s why I feel so relatable, and always hoping her happiness… I hope there’s more under the surface we will be exposed to today, like that moment when Won Seok read the message before deciding to break up.

I love how nonjudgemental they are together. When she freaked out that they were actually about to sleep together (and I need a scene of how they ended up with that bowl of mandarins. Like See Hee asked if she wanted to sleep together and Ji Ho said yes, please come in, let me go get a bowl of mandarins. I will return shortly.—What? How did we get here?) and pretended to be asleep. First I loved the little wince she gave when he asked if she was asleep –this is something that always kills me in dramas: Someone asks the clearly sleeping person, “Are you asleep?” clearly sleeping person responds, “yes!” and thats that. I loved when she slowly peaked he was just staring at her. They are so sweet together.

I certainly hope that you are better than Ho Rang and I am just going to believe that you are because I have wanted to kick her since the very beginning and you seem delightful here in Beanieland. I LOVED Ho Rang and Won Seok’s conversation were he said (what I’ve been saying since the beginning)–basically calling her out–that she doesn’t want to marry him she just wants to be married. And when she tried to say that she was just supporting him by talking to that other man? Girl. Bye. Literally this time, bye.
And because I have made absolutely no secret of my not-fondness of the gal: I love that while she’s part of the friend group Suji and Ji Ho seem closer. HA

Now I recall that mandarin thing, it’s quite sudden, maybe we’ll see more flashbacks.
When Sehee opens the door, he already knows that Jiho is fake sleeping, haha, the way he gets her by asking her, oh my… that’s so cute of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And despite all my expectation, Jiho falling asleep immediately due to “what a good night” Sehee makes her feels, and snoring, is the BEST!!!!!!!!
And Sehee is Sehee: I wonder what other notes he made of Jiho, and if snoring is positive/negative is his “standard”? And the way he’s over confident in cooking, my goodness, I already know there will be a twist!!! :)) No wonder why he loves Jiho’s cooking…
For Horang, you see, she’s very delightful too! I guess with Suji and Jiho, they will never talk or make friend if it’s not for Horang. You did give her credit for this one! :))
I said I feel relatable, because I tend to hold on to relationships, for the 7-year things and for her hope of having a family to take care of. I reflect myself a lot watching her. 😀
Their breakup conversation, I like it too. One reason is that, when she said, she worked hard to make Wonseok an ideal boyfriend, now she only has to make him an ideal husband (I laughed at her determination on working out at that moment)… But she gradually figured out by herself, and also from what Wonseok said about his pressure, that Wonseok (or everything else) might not work out the way she wants! I love the little moments when she heard of 5 years more, and when she checked the bank book, those are already signs of breakup from her side… and even her denial of break up in beginning of the ep… To me, her story is nice, the drama portraits her character as not a perfect or ideal character, but very realistic. Remember when she spread rumors on Suji, then she and Suji fights but she was the only one got scolded, and that she came to Suji’s house to give apple? I love all the aspects of that, how one can be mixed of good and bad! So I don’t find her annoying, and always have high hope to see how the drama makes her grow…

It does. Very much. One of the reasons that I like the fanwall and the recaps so much is that it gives you an opportunity to see the drama through other people. I don’t blame/am mad at Ho Rang for wanting a family. She’s just never made it seem like it mattered to her who gave it to her. I LOVED the conversation where Won Seok was finally, “Why do you always say YOU were in this relationship for 7 years? That YOU had to wait? That YOU were a victim.” At the very beginning of the drama I felt like Ho Rang would be an interesting character and I was interested in seeing where they went with her. Now I’m only interested in how fast I can get to the ff whenever she’s on screen. I haven’t started ff her YET but every ep I find something new to dislike about her. Selfish, shallow, and manipulative are at the very top of the list.

Agree with you on her manipulative tendency.
Suji pointed out to her their lack of conversation on marriage topic, and she did talk to him. Then, Horang did tell Wonseok what she needs, they did make up, but later on she starts pushing him to get what she wants. In general, her being too aggressive and making Wonseok scared of her… instead of real conversations is what I don’t like most of her.
And to me, I focus more on the set up of their relationships of their need for communication and honesty, like what Sehee tell Wonseok on rooftop. Horang might not be an ideal female character in dramaland, but having her and her dynamic with Wonseok, initiates our conversations and I learnt a lot from her mistakes and your comments. 😀

Please learn nothing from me—I’m an idiot. Well meaning and generally delightful but don’t listen to me on anything.

I had always been more than slightly annoyed by Ho Rangs characterization but the moment she decided to use sex to manipulate him into getting married. I was done with her.

He first walked in with b his pillow then after they kissed he went for beer, 2 I’m assuming to share with Ji-ho to help them bothrelax.

Haha, the mandarins had me confused too! And what on earth was Se Hee trying to do to the one he picked?😂 Did he think hitting it would open it up?😂

I took that as a way to disperse some of that sexual tension. Like, “I came in here to see if she wanted to do the lay down move around and she’s offering me fruit? She said yes? I’m not crazy? She said yes?” I had to go back to watch her say yes again, just to verify.

I will say last week I had a dream about these two. Ji Hoo says yes and See Hee takes her out of the room and starts putting his shoes on and she’s all where are we going? And he’s all, to buy condoms! And they went to go buy condoms and Ji Ho followed him around as he strategically placed the condoms (he bought a lot) in all of the various places he could envision them having sex. And then they sat at the kitchen table to discuss any potential consequences of the sex and whether or not it would be better for Ji Hoo to move in to his bedroom and then they could rent her old room out. Thats a dream I should have shared earlier…

Woah, that’s some dream you had. 😂

            HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
            Glad I’m not alone.
I find it odds for Sehee to grab some beer!!!!!!!
I though he should go pick up condom, not beer.
And then he picks 2 beers instead of 1, must be to share with Jiho.
But when he comes to Jiho’s room, he is only holding his pillow.
Is it a time gap of a long time here???
And also, he only gets out of Jiho’s room around morning.
So they sleep together one night, right?

I thought he went to get a beer to cool himself down–he hasn’t dated since his ex as far as we know–things could have been a bit too hot for him, if you know what I’m saying. As for those beers. I assumed he had slammed the one he was drinking on his way back and when he heard her snoring–he slammed the other (in disappointment)

I wish I had more to add but Aaaaaaaa. That was so great. I swear LMK has dropped a year or two each episode. And honestly sleeping would not be an opotion, if I opened my eyes and saw that face staring at me Nope sleep just wouldn’t happen.

The two moments that shot me dead this episode:

    1. When Ji-ho opened her eyes and saw him looking right at her. OMG. Ya’ll know I have a thing for his eyes and that was almost too much for me. I think my heart stopped.

    2. The way they looked at each other and smiled when the bus pulled up. The simplest and yet sweetest thing in the world.

Someone was right when they said on last week’s recap (I think) how he has matured as an actor. In the other couple of things I’ve seen him in he has always been undeniably, kind of boyishly charming. But THIS? This is something else entirely.
