Okay, how cool is that last fight? I kept noticing little thing like how Dong-tak making sure Soo-chang is safe before manuevering his body to help him fight, or how Soo-chang supporting Dong-tak’s body during his acrobatic move. I love their partnership already.
THIS. This was what I was talking about. I loved this scene. And when Soo-chang took that blow for Dong-tak, I was a goner. Damn this boy is not your murderer Dong-tak. A murderer wouldn’t care about you.
But I love it even more that Dong-tak actually asked him, ‘are you really not the murderer?’ I get that Dong-tak wanted to place the blame on the first guy he could find. But the evidence against Soo-chang shouldn’t even be called that. Stupid higher officals trying to cover up the real murderer and looking for a scapegoat. So I’m just glad that Dong-tak actually asked him.
Exactly. I like that Dong-tak is hot-headed and very persistent, but he doesn’t rush forward blindly. And he immediately looks ready for them to be a temporary partner the moment he realized someone has set Soo-chang up to take the blame.
