The casting of the Rich Man, Poor Woman remake is making me legitimately sad. Ha Yeon-soo is spot on, but everyone else is all wrong!

Finally somewhere to vent about it. I agree, ha yeon soo seems like perfect for the meek secretary role, but can you believe this, after that iconic role of shin oguri and his hysteric performance, they had to go with an idol with no acting skills whatsoever? His role made this show work for me and I think I binge watched for two days straight. I can’t with this, flipping table and everything. -______-

Yes, a comrade! Suho can’t possibly play Shun Oguri’s role – firstly because he’s a wooden actor who I can’t see mastering all of the character’s quirks, but secondly because he doesn’t look the part! He’s too young! How is he supposed to play a wealthy bachelor who raised a company by himself?? There’s a limit to the extent that the show can suspend belief! And then they cast Kim Ye-won in Saku Aiba’s role, which pisses me off because it tells me that they’re going to make her character mean and annoying in this version. I mean, when has Kim Ye-won ever been cast as a nice character?

Hehe, <3. I know right, Suho lacks the maturity and wise look that shun oguri had, also agree with what you said. For someone who lived and died for the company, and the epic expressions of not eating, sleeping, and working like a mad person for days on a row, pulling off all-nighters, I doubt suho can even come anywhere close. It's like they insulted shun oguri by casting Suho..I would have been satisfied with even a decent underrated/ or unpopular actor. And yes on kim ye won, for one second I thought she was playing the heroine lol, which I wouldn't mind honestly. I don't think she lacks anything in the heroine compartment to play a secondary role for over and over again.

I really hope this show doesn’t tank, just so it won’t be a complete disgrace to the original! I think I’ll be leaving miserable comments about this even more in the future. -_-
