Chief Na is an interesting character. Mostly, he felt contempt toward those inmates and he clearly treated them as a lesser person. He was a stickler for rule and not someone who would make a deal with them for his personal gain, but he wasn’t above using them for the institution’s advantage. He is not a bad person per se, but his i’m-being-very-reasonable-right-now voice and disinterested manner grated me like no other.
