I’m thinking of watching Goblin with my mom. Now, the question is, does it have a good ending? Like satisfying and not WTF why did I watch this ending?

LOL. I’m not sure where should I put it – satisfying or WTF ending? Well I think not exactly WTF but maybe wasn’t fully satisfied.

That question is super subjective. There are beanies who were ok with it and those who weren’t. I lean more to the latter. Then again, I wasn’t nearly as big a fan of the drama as many other beanies though.

The last episode is not as satisfying as it could have been, but not even close to WTF. With that said, every episode has something amazing in it. The side vignettes about the people going to the afterlife are worth watching this drama for as well. This drama affected me so, and no other one has even come close to the emotionally satisfying journey I took with this story. I’m still watching it now and sharing it with my closest friends and family. Watch it. It’s worth it.

I enjoyed Goblin, and for what it’s worth I think the ending fit the rules of gods/reincarnation/etc as laid out in the show. Was it all happiness and perfection? No, but it wasn’t a complete WTF, why the hell did I just waste 20+ hours of my life. I was mostly satisfied with ending, even though it was a bit bittersweet.

I liked the ending…actually the rest of the plot is pretty weird but the ending is solid. Goblin is one of those shows that isn’t technically good (bad plot, characters that don’t make sense) but it has charm and humor that keeps you watching (and the amazing sound track probably had a lot to do with it). I’d go for a show that’s more put together to watch with your mom.
