The thing that got me the most in INAR today was Min Kyu’s stumbling. He’s trying so hard to be this arrogant standoffish man that stalks off, but then he keeps stumbling in front of Jia and you can see he hates himself for it, but can’t help it. Because he is a normal, weak person, and the strong wall that he built around himself that kept him together (but also kept people out) has crumbled over the course of the show. That touch of falling while trying to be tough, and feeling humiliated, really made me empathize with Min Kyu today.
Oh, and when he was hurt when she recoiled from his touch because she didn’t want to activate his allergy, but all he could think was that she was disgusted by him. That was great, petty and hurtful but human. Min Kyu was so very human today.
