BEANIES. I have a difficult decision to make. I want to draw one of these scenes (love the significance behind them), can’t decide which. Which is the best/aesthetically appealing? 1,2,3? Please help!

    I think #1 is the most appealing, but personally I’d choose #3 because of the books in the background!

    I like #3 more because of the books in the background. But whichever one you do, I’m sure it’ll turn out great!

    Thank you so much beanies <3 Personally… I liked 3 the most too because of the books BUT I think I'd go blind drawing them in… I really like #2 because of the conversation that went on (watched it raw, I read/speak elementary Korean)… Gosh. Maybe I'll try to squeeze out the time to draw 2? It's Lunar New Year in a couple of days so I'm not sure how much time I have but I'll see.

      I’d thought the same about the books, too. My other choice would have been #1 coz of the lighting. Can’t wait for you to post it! I can’t believe it’s Lunar New Year already. I only had a chance too buy a nice pot of yellow mums, so far!

        Do you celebrate, too? I’m actually Chinese, so I definitely have to do all the LNY stuff which is going to take lots of time off my schedule ):

        I thought of #1 too but argh, I can’t get over how perfect #2 was! At this point I’m kind of like DRAW ALL but I think it might be 2019 by the time I’m done? 😂

          I’m Chinese, too. But we will just do a simple celebration. A couple of dinners here and there. It’s a lot different now that we’re older. Where will you be celebrating?

          I haven’t caught up on all the episodes of Hwayugi so I’m not sure what’s been going on. If #2 is what’s calling out to you, then do that one. And….if you have time, you can do the others. 😀

            Same here, nothing too special besides visiting the elders’ places, but traveling, dressing up and eating takes time so oh well. I’ll be honest and say that LNY isn’t particularly significant to me because it feels too commercialized now.

            I sort of found a better angle of scene #2 and the sketch will go up on my wall now! Pretty excited to have something to draw again. And happy New Year in advance to you!
