The ending of Hwayugi made me so empty. It’s similar to the manhwa ending of Habaek’s Bride especially after all the drama, but the difference is that Ohgong insisted to pursue Sunmi, despite the circumstances. Still, on the bright side, I chose to believe Sunmi is not gonna stay a spirit for so long because Ohgong is going to be reinstated into an immortal so he would be able to change her fate.
