woop! ok i HAZ MISTY QUESTIONS! i’m trying to be as spoiler-free as i can, but PROCEED YE WITH CAUTION. see my reply to this for the actual questions 😁
this is about the trial. (1) why doesn’t the prosecutor already know the answer to the question the policeman said to ask? (2) why is that answer surprising? i mean, with that answer, why is that witness even there?
I’ve been wondering the same thing. My knowledge on law is strictly limited to tv shows and fictional books yet I know that whole scenario doesn’t make sense. I’d like to say we should put faith in the writer hoping there’ll be a reasonable/plausible reason but knowing it’s a kdrama, I’d chalk it up to shitty research and poor writing. Otherwise, the drama is great!
this seems to be the prevailing opinion in the Misty Open Forum too — that the writer is just out of their depth with the legal stuff. BUT STILL i mean, im like you— my knowledge on law is limited to TV etc–and even I know this is a preposterous way to proceed as a prosecutor. aiya. anyway, i agree that otherwise this drama is great!
