I was reading the post about The Great Seducer and the step-siblings thing reminded me of Sassy Go Go. Now THAT was one of the strangest endings ever. I still can’t undesrtand it at all.
Well, it was so strange that I cannot even say what turned into what. They were highschool kids so I guess you can’t outright call them lovers but they were the main OTP and had a loveline. And their parents had a loveline too. And the ending scene they were all sitting around a table eating dinner… What… I just… can’t… understand what is that supposed to mean…
Ah I see. I wasn’t that shocked because I remember seeing it in another Taiwanese drama, Devil Beside You. SGG played it pretty well. But in a way, that plot device was quite rare to see which I get why you found it weird
I wasn’t shocked either because it is not a taboo in all cultures. But I knew it is in Korea and I kept waiting for them to somehow resolve it but was like that’s it?? The end?? What was that?
But this proves what a good drama can do to you. I still rewatch it from time to time though I know there is basically no satisfying ending to my ship.
