Maybe since I’m 30 years old, I don’t know, I never felt like age gap is an issue in romancing anyone? Lol I can see that people don’t want any romance in ‘my ahjussi’ but oddly I find the chemistry between IU and LSK so strong. Too bad that there won’t be any romance..sobs.

I’m still not sure if there will be any romance or not! Lol. I’m hoping not because I want to see more strong platonic friendships in dramaland between men and women, but I won’t be super bothered if there is romance.

I’ll let the show take me where it will take me.

Haha maybe I’m of those types who doesn’t like the usual OTPS and sees scopes where there is none. 😀 But I’m with you on this. So far I’m just pissed at Ji An since she totally backstabbed on the nice ahjussi. :/ Let’s see where it goes lol.

I thought they did a good job at showing how Ji-an could stoop so low considering how crappy her life is, and we don’t even know the whole story. I of course don’t condone her actions, and I don’t think the show wants us to, but it just goes to show how damaged and jaded she is. I expect great character development.

Ah you’re right. I’m sure she’s very salty and have a pessimistic view of life right now. Like I loved that line from the teaser, ‘people who live a comfortable life have the privilege of being good people’ or something like that.

Same. I’ll let the drama take me wherever it want.

I’m feeling the strong chemistry between our nice ajusshi and downttodden girl too. Whether or not they’ll end up as a couple, I’m all in as long as they get to be happy. They deserve that much.

True true. At least for the first episode, I am intrigued already.

I with you on this. I’m only 20 and I never found it weird either. Two consenting adults… their cup of tea. The chemistry is strong but I’m yet to determine if it’s a romantic way or not. I don’t care at this point, I just want more of them. I really enjoyed the first episode.

Right? After a certain age, younger or older doesn’t matter IMO since it’s not like anyone of them goes to school lol. It’s more about if their pov match and they can talk for hours and still feel interested. But yeah I can still see that the drama can go both ways. And me too, loved the first episode! Totally agree on more of them on screen. The two brothers have still not grown on me. :/

I was hesitant because I wanted to see a strong friendship and partnership like in Signal but then on the other hand I found chemistry between the leads really compelling and I’m a bit disappointed that there’s no romance between them after all.

They released some kind of statement that there’s no romantic feelings between those two.

Yeah same here, I was really looking forward to this one lol. Also, the over-clarification about how this is not a ‘romance drama’ at all is more annoying IMO lol. If the writer wants it to be a romance drama make it one, why change the storyline just cause some aren’t enthusiastic about it? Those who are really fans of the writer/director will watch it anyway lol.

Well, I think if that Ahjusshi is someone like Gongyoo, maybe some fans won’t be bothered to see any romance. 😏😂 I don’t mind huge age gap either, I’ll be happily romancing Lee Sun-kyun if I get the chance though.. LOL

Haha yeah, :/. Me neither! I find LSK totally impressive and that voice! Also, some people are quite mature and I know some girls in real life who went for someone older. So to each their own haha.

LOL, don’t you feel like Eun Chan in Coffee Prince? Deciding which hot ahjussi to date? 😍 Whether Lee Sun Kyun or Gong Yoo.
