Okay, I took note of your recommendation 😉
Also, have you watched all his movies ? I still have to watch Monster, Very Ordinary Couple, and maybe For the Emperor
I have seen a good chunk of them! Monster is a very oddly entertaining movie. I really liked it. The tone is strange (it’s super chilling, but also weirdly funny at some parts) but I thought it kinda worked. He and Kim Go-eun are fantastic. She’s just as crazy as him. You may have to do some self-therapy afterwards. I watched some BTLIOF clips to erase the image of him as a serial killer from my mind, LOL.
I also really liked Very Ordinary Couple. Their pettiness towards each other at the beginning is kind of hilarious. It’s a nice movie about two people being in love, but that not necessarily translating to compatability.
I personally did not like For the Emperor. I almost didn’t finish it, and it’s by far my least favorite of his films I’ve seen. He’s really good in it despite having very few lines (lots of eye-acting) and his character is really the only one with any sort of depth and isn’t totally terrible. I mean, he still does terrible things, but he’s also the only one with any sort of hint of a conscience, and the only one with any respect for the (very few) women in the movie. The movie is basically just a violent mess. Hard to watch, without being in any way fun like Monster. I do not recommend it. Lol.
I was already skeptical about For the Emperor just after reading the sypnosis, but now you have convinced me to avoid it haha
Monster looks good, I miss Kim Go-Eun ! However I need to prepare myself mentally before seeing Lee Min-Ki as a serial killer…

I’m going to start A Poem A Day and Mother (yeah, they’re quite opposite 😂).
And maybe a drama with our beloved Lee Min-Ki 😉
