I think so. 😂 Perhaps a hypothetical question, but I answer regardless. Exposure and immersion is the best way to learn.

Today I did TTMIK level 7 lesson 6 which was on ์•„/์–ด/์—ฌ ๋ดค์ž which means “even if…” or “there is no use…” I’m also reviewing 3.4 which was on (์œผ)ใ„น ๊นŒ์š” which can be used to ask yourself a question, ask a question of a group, or suggest doing something together.

    1. Minho! Even if you sew gator on my shirt, it’s no use! I’ll never forgive you!
    2. Do you think I’ll be fluent in one year? Even if you study hard, you’ll never be fluent.
    3. Dad! Let’s watch a kdrama together! No! Even if you ask a thousand times, I will never watch it!

      2. ์ผ๋…„ ์•ˆ์— ์œ ์ฐฝํ•ด์งˆ๊นŒ์š”?
-weird thing about counting time in Korean is that it goes back and forth between the two types counting 😅 For weeks: ์ผ์ฃผ์ผ, Months: ํ•œ๋‹ฌ, Year: ์ผ๋…„, BUT ํ•œ ํ•ด, ๋‘ ํ•ด. Then thereโ€™s days which gets complicated because its a form of the ํ•˜๋‚˜ ๋‘˜ ์…‹ counting: ํ•˜๋ฃจ, ์ดํ‹€, ์‚ฌํ˜, ๋‚˜ํ˜, ๋‹ท์ƒˆ, ์—ฟ์ƒˆ, ์ด๋ ˆ, ์—ฌ๋“œ๋ ˆ, ์•„ํ๋ ˆ, ์—ดํ˜, I wont get into any other days after 10 but an important one used sometimes is 15 days=๋ณด๋ฆ„. But you can also use ์ผ์ผ, ์ด์ผ, ์‚ผ์ผ 😅 Thank you for reading another episode of weird Korean. *bows*

        3. Why does ๋ณผ๊นŒ์š” not work in this situation?

          2. Letโ€™s just say that Saturday Korean school had a way of engraining these number stuff in my head (I guess all those years didnโ€™t go to waste 😂).
          3. I replaced it because -๊นŒ์š” always ends a question so ๋ณผ๊นŒ์š” would translate more to โ€œshould we watch?โ€

            Thanks for explaining!
I think it will take me a while to get all that down but I am proud to say I now know 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 in the Korean number system 🙂

@raonah Congrats! Once you get the 10s down in Korean, youโ€™ll see the slight similarities with the 1-10 days in Korean too. It takes time and no rush especially since people use the Sini-Korean number system for days just as much 😊
