Mistress was an amazing thriller with a tonally bizarre last ten minutes.

(Anyone know how I can listen to that epic ending track?)

        😂 No prob!
I thought the ending would be sad because SH didn’t show up, even though he was tortured by the psychotic YD and suffered through so much. The director however decided to do a switcheroo and bring him back into the picture (literally at the other side of the camera), right at the end. So I was all like 🙌.

I wasn’t expecting JH’s husband to be her murderer because his psychological condition came out of nowhere. But in hindsight, considering how everyone else was cleared, I should’ve suspected him. I’m glad YD died because it seemed like he was immortal! (He didn’t die when he fell out the building, nor at the attempted drowning, JS (his wife) had to hit him in the head with a brick.)

I felt like the ending teased a second season. Who was that lady? Another mistress? Another one of YD’s wives? She bought the building which was the hair saloon/candle shop (both owners were murdered) so does she know this and did she purposely buy it? Is she related to JH? Was she part of the candle making meetings that the other ladies would visit? Or is she SH’s wife who was supposed to have committed suicide? SH’s wife’s sister(the florist) seemed super shady when SY visited her for answers.

So the ending was a cliffhanger and maybe they purposely didn’t reveal JW’s baby’s father for the second season? Either way I loved the thrill Mistress had and the focus on the 4 leading ladies. In 12 eps they managed to make the mystery tight and compelling.
