Reading Vulture as I am wont to do at work I saw this article splashed across the home page: http://www.vulture.com/2018/06/a-deeper-look-at-why-bts-has-thrived-in-america.html

A really interesting read on the reasons for BTS’s success in America (and one that acknowledges that BTS isn’t the only kpop act to write their own music or make socially conscientious songs etc.)

Easily the best article I’ve read so far. Precisely because most articles, “seldom involve a guess as to why BTS is the one K-pop act to have inspired such a following”.

That was a very good read. I found it so refreshing in its objectivity, in the wave of either sycophantic clickbaits or superficial bashers, that have currently hit us. And so well researched! It really hit the nail on the head with the tracking of the rise of BTS and the reasons why.
    Thanks for the share UmbrellaMan!
