I am watching a crappy period c-drama. In one scene, the male lead dragged the female lead as they ran away from a group of assassins. She asked him, why didn’t he just fight the assassins instead, since he has this awesome kungfu. He said, the assassins are too many for him to fight alone.
Then I remember about how Wang So in Moon Lovers just single-handedly fought a temple full of killer monks.
And several other instances where kdrama male lead just beat up a group of bad guys.
The line uttered by the c-drama lead definitely has no place in kdramas.
