Not only did she win her first accolade as ‘actress Lee Ji Eun’, but she won the BEST ACTRESS in a Miniseries award against big names and her much older sunbaenims such as Lee Bo Young (nominated for “Mother”…. which also was a drama that reached international exposure this year at a major international film festival), and Lee Sun Ah (nominated for “Shall We Kiss First.”)…..

And the girl is doing all of this with such humility, grace, beauty (inside and out), and is now heading into the end-of-the-year craziness as ‘singer IU’ with her song “BBIBBI” which I feel is her making a graceful nod to her haters (WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD/COULD HATE HER??? WHO???), but also telling her fellow artists, like, “Hey, I got your back”, especially with the death of Jonghyun shaking up the k-pop industry so much last year and FINALLY giving everyone a wake up call… I still don’t know how she was able to perform—and perform SO WELL—with so much love, and heart, and soul during one of the year-end music events (don’t remember which one, sorry), which was also the first live show performances she did after Jonghyun’s passing, considering that he was one of her closest friends #beauty #grace #professionalism
