I wasn’t able to get the link to work so I googled VRV and got this: https://vrv.co/dramafever
does anyone know if this is legit? The rest of the site looks mostly like anime stuff.
I believe these niche content companies lose their individuality when acquired by bigger media companies. Not sure if I am losing the correct word but like DF was never the same after being acquired by Warner Bros. Viki seemed to also go a little downhill when Rakuten took over. Some people have also highlighted in koala’s post that Beautytap perhaps bought DB too.
agreed. When you work with the local companies/market they bring the right flavors. These big companies look at just the numbers. Dramas like ‘To Jenny’ will never see the light because on paper they don’t sound market-able, while the audience are exactly looking for that.
This articulates my feelings. Reading through the comments I see it said Netflix picked up a bunch of old dramas. The list is everything that DF had. However, they’re not available in the U.S. I guess Netflix can only show those dramas in places DF didn’t have license for.

Read the article. The reference to Life was brilliant.
