Boo Boo Boy was made by Barunson which I have guessed is the Korean version of San Rio. They have, or had, oodles of Hello Kitty-like characters and attendant items. I bought this can in the 80s for the fractured English and because we shared initials. I should look up Barunson.
Interesting. I was surprised to turn up information on Barunson on AsianWiki of all sites. But then it made sense when I saw their lines of business. It looks as if the cartoon characters of yesteryear have been replaced by film production and VR games.

Thank you, @bbstl. I feel as if I’m seeing the cow version of Hello Kitty. 😉
