I would recommend it. You really walk away from each episode thinking about something. They touched on subjects that are very real and sometimes raw. It is also quite funny.
I definitely plan to rewatch this once am done. Because, I am sure I missed a lot of details in the first 4/5 episodes. It really took me a while to get into the grove. And now that I know the characters, am sure I will appreciate it more.
I held on until the very end not wanting to like or give Jang Hyuk the benefit of anything. I really just thought he was a thoughtless cad with it came to his adultery and sometimes his attitude. But when Yoo young asked about why he did not register their license and he finally stopped joking and talked about the self hatred that they both had and it spilling to one another…damnit man, don’t make me understand you.
@larelle79 yes I remember how strongly you felt about Jang Hyuk. There was something so unsettling about him from the beginning. Like he goes from acting dumb and saying some meaningful stuff.
Yes that conversation where both of them spilled out was very hard to watch. They both are suffering and not giving themselves a chance to heal or be happy. I agree they need some therapy. But her reaching out to her mother is one step forward. And Jang Hyuk meeting Seok Moo was needed for him.

Matrimonial Chaos has been such a breath of fresh air that I’m not ready to say goodbye. I’m glad I trusted Bae Doo Na to pick a great script.

It really was. I am totally down for a second series with new couples.
It is a shame that this show did not do better.

Looks like we have all The episodes and reached the end. Slowly savoring and watching the last few.

I wasn’t quite sure about it in the beginning, but I’m glad I stuck with it. It really was a breath of fresh air.

Yes! I don’t often go back in an episode and rewatch, but this one was a gem with so many good conversations and awkward or funny moments.
