Greetings loyal subjects and allies to the Crown.
Did you miss me? I was gone a whole week, isn’t that just shocking.

Currently Watching:
Witch’s Romance, Episode 10: Up until this afternoon this was in fact the only thing I was watching O_O
I kinda keep hoping the ex IS secretly a scumbag… idk otherwise he doesn’t have much character development or point in being there other than Useful Pointy Thing To Put Between OTP. For someone who isn’t usually a big Noona Romance fan, this has kept my attention well enough so far though.

Memories of Alhambra, all of Episode 1, as of 3 hrs ago: Yaaaaaaa~ this looks fun. However, I have very, very looooow expectations because of where W went, only held aloft slightly by the fact that this is the FOS PD. I also don’t quite know enough about gaming or VR themed stories to judge or analyse it on that regard (- my gaming knowledge is limited to old ripped arcade games, Pokemon Crystal, MK64 and watching my brothers play and clock anything from KOTR 1 to all the AOEs, and I still haven’t read RP1 LMAO) but as long as it’s no worse than that terrible duology by Marie Lu, it’s fine.
But even if this does go to shโ™ ๏ธt, I expect I shall fully enjoy it anyway as a subpar VR fantasy drama. Like you know when something gets so bad you like it anyway because of that? Like Hwayugi and campy Chinese films? Yeah. Like that. We’ll see.
(I predicted that he was gonna have to keep going back and back to the Bar to get the sword and I was cackling when he did).

To Possibly Start:
First Clean Passionately– ?????shrug????? I love Yoo Jung but mixed starting reviews meaning I’m mixed about starting it lol.
Boyfriend– I like… PBG. But I don’t … really… like… Song Hye Go… or the premise… ahhhhh

End of Year Target Goal To Finish:
The Liar and His Lover– because I’m half way through, and it’s been staring at me for a year now. and so I can take over the Liar Ninja Nation, and bring them out of hiding I mean what

AND THEN. When I’ve finished WR and TLAHL I finally want to start Six Flying Dragons as my non airing continuous drama. Was it… @earthna I think it was you who said to watch that before TWDR? Correct me if I’m wrong, SFD fam.

    Good to see you!

Yay! You’ll be starting Six Flying Dragons soon! I’ll share that I watched it first and then watched TWDR barely last year, I think it was. It just worked out that way for me because I just never got around to watching TWDR when it was airing. I’m kind of glad it worked out that way as the story in TWDR takes place after SFD.

Okay you’ve definitely caught my attention with the mention of Marie Lu. Are you specifically talking about Warcross? 0.0

Warcross and Wildcard yes. The second book in particular was just… badly written. Story aside the actual basic English in it was just at a poor level. Not the worst I’ve seen in YAF but still not great. Which is shocking really because Legend wasn’t all that bad all things considered.

Huh, this is just my personal opinion but I found them okay, true the English isn’t the best but her books are definitely a chance for me to unwind and just enjoy without thinking too hard. But, I’ve also read some pretty bad YAF novels too…
Maybe it’s just me and open endings but I personally don’t like as much the Legend series because of the last book. Like I know what it means, but I still want my characters shown happy not just implied!! I fear that all the time in dramas. O.O

Lol that’s fine. I’m pretty harsh when it comes to YAF. I have to buy it for the library I work at so that doesn’t help. The first was definitely an unwind and switch off book, the second one really frustrated me. But that often happens. Sequels are harder to write.

I only read the first book in the Legend series, so as a stand alone I thought it was written relatively ok for it’s genre. I know what happens at the end of the series and whilst I haven’t read it properly, would probably have been frustrated at it too.

Oh, well that definitely stinks.. Thankfully, the library I go to, doesn’t charge me to read them so I take advantage when I can.
But, true, sequels are always difficult to make as good as the original. I can’t recall many sequels as good or better when it comes to YAF.
Ah, well just the first book of Legend is good, but I couldn’t even bring myself to read the whole last book… The story just went too crazy and frustrating for me to handle at the end. So yes, the ending got me angry. But it’s the past now. I try to avoid books like that, although, now that I think about it, I haven’t been doing a good job… Or maybe it’s too much trust in writers. 😅

Oh no I mean… I work in a library and am in charge of buying FOR the YAF so I have to trawl through a lot of books that aren’t often that… good. Hahaha. Probably helps polarize my view.
I’m not sure I can think of any sequel that was better than the first… Oh The Queen’s Thief maybe…

Kekekeke I suppose “Never Trust the Writers” is a rather pessimistic view isn’t it… haha

Oh, that sounds like the dream job for me! 😅
Although, I would get bored if I could only reads book of a specific genre or age group for too long… I need variety!
But yeah, at some point, they can get repetitive. ๐Ÿ™‚
It can be, and I try not to get to that point, because I would never want to lose my love for reading! 😬

Heeeeeeeeee go go go go! I’ve seen Tree first and I liked it that way but watching SFD first would be nice too. If however, you’re going to watch SFD first, beware of comments spoiling Tree.^^

    Ugh the ex in WR.

I feel the same about Boyfriend…

Let me know if you start SFD, I watched that earlier this year and loved it!

Actually, scratch that. Watch TWDR first. I feel like the ending for SFD would make more sense and will give you more satisfaction. Lol.

About Liar: I started to write a scene-stealing article about that show, but never got it together. Cliffโ€™s notes version: watch it for the third leadโ€”poor puppy.
