Continuing my mini-end of year review by listing my favourite OSTs.

#2 Mr. Sunshine OST 4 – “Sound” by Lee Suhyun of AKMU.
Mr. Sunshine’s OST did not really grab me at first. It was too dramatic in a sort of pompous way. But then I heard Lee Suhyun’s warm voice. “Sound” has a lilting rhythm, which goes perfectly with the scene of Ae-Shin smiling to herself as she sits in the rowboat with Eugene. The OST also reflects the pace of the show: slow, gentle, confident, and tinged with melancholy. The pace was not everyone for everyone, and it took getting used to – like riding a boat down a river. Mr. Sunshine always had an undercurrent of danger that exploded at certain points, but even those epic moments were unrushed and deliberate, but always beautiful.

I love her voice in this. I had this on repeat right after it came out.
