In my own personal bean count rules I do not count shows dropped with 4 or more fully unwatched episodes left as watched.
Thus, AYHT (dropped two to end) and WWSK (skimmed last 4) count, but Radio Romance (code name Video Killed the Radio Star in my master doc) and Waikiki do not. (T-2)

I do, as of this year, count non Korean shows. I will fight you if you make me leave out the Lord Pineapple and his Lady Weed ok. There would be a full scale Dramaland continental war if I left them out. Thus Meteor Garden counts, but Hanadan, since it’s on hiatus and unfinished and unlikely to be finished before the year ends, doesn’t.

I don’t count rewatches. That’s not new material, that’s just a fun trip down memory lane.

I count SP and FMY. I finished at least half of them this year, and I had to physically force the former into my brain in order for it to count as watched, not just this year but overall.

I also, as a Respectibiggle Marshwiggle, still have a lot of older dramas to watch and finish and they do in fact, they take up almost half of my total of watched and completed shows this year.
And I will for presetierites sake count my currently watchings. Since the airings will be half finished and the older shows will (God willing rivers don’t rise) be entirely completed by the end of 2018.

So the first total (and super bias) bean count, including minis, older shows and MG, is therefore:

So now I must distribute 26 illegal beans among the shows I watched this year, and 12 legal beans to the shows that aired and were watched this year. (Or well… melons. Since beans are expensive to import here)
