Yes, I think it was a bit of “noble idiocy”, but I also think that he – somewhere along the way – genuinely fell in love with her, and saw how unhappy and suffocated she was. So he decided to set her free.
But I wish that he had tried to woo her first (make her fall in love with him) and make his marriage work. Then I think, that maybe he saw how controlling and unbearable his mother is… he should’ve just taken his wife and moved out.
Anyways I am sure that they will (hopefully) show us more details of what actually happened. Did he really have an affair? Or did he manufacture the affair in order to set SH free?

I watched Full House this year for the first time. First drama I’ve seen her or Rain in. I kept getting surprised by how beautiful she is, lol.
