The past few episodes sure got me conflicted. I can’t say that I hate it, but I also can’t say that I loved it.. I guess it just got dragged out. One thing’s for sure – this drama would’ve been better watched on a marathon and not live. What was I thinking? I already made that resolution after wha what happened with W. I guess my curiosity got the best (or worst) of me.
But seriously, who else noticed the sloppy editing these past 2 episodes? It seemed that the editors couldn’t wait to finish the story themselves. Haha
There are several more issues on this show that viewers found annoying. And I admit, PSH crying almost every 5 mins does get tiring. But honestly, I get her. Her character’s just written that way. I’m not a crier myself but I have real-life friends who can cry as much as she does in this show, perhaps even more. And Jin Woo’s on-an-off limp? I understood it. Based on the premise, it disappears when he’s playing a high-level game. Seems ridiculous but if you think of how the game actually plays with your head, it makes sense. The brain is a powerful thing. There’s been documented cases where it can create and erase physical symptoms just because it believed so. Which is why as much as I found the concept of the game fun and interesting, I won’t have it IRL, thank you very much. We have too many mental and psychological illnesses existing already even without AR-induced paranoia.
Despite the show’s glitches, I still look forward to the final episodes. Hope they get to deliver the ending this amazing concept, actors and production deserve.
