I’m updated with My Strange Hero through recaps and it seems good but as a teacher, I can’t bring myself to watch it. Teacher-Student relationships irk me.
The recaps cant capture the best part of the show: the execution. The directing. The comedic timing (the fact that the person who picks the music deserves a comedy award). The phenomenal acting. Bokoo being more radiant than the sun.
It doesn’t feel like a “real” teacher student relationship to me because they are the same age, studied together once upon a time and it doesnt feel like she holds any real power over him. He isnt really in it for the degree anyway.

I’m watching with that part of my brain turned off – they’re the same age and he’s far too old for high school, so that helps too.
