Less than 12 hours ago i worked on something in the office till late hours in order to present it on Thursday.
On Thursday i found myself lounging in a cafe for hours after brunch (and watching the remaining episodes of Coffee Friends because~ im in a cafe 😜😝🤣🤣🤣) ..
You know what? suddenly today is a holiday; the state’s sultan was to be proclaimed as the new King and yesterday in late hours he generously ordered the State administration to give his people a holiday to celebrate the happy occassion.
I havent met the sultan himself but had met the sultanah personally for a few times (most of the times at the flood relief stations where she helped out the needy and cooked for them) ever since i moved to this state. The Sultanah now turned Queen. Being the new King and the Queen of the country must be a challenge to the both of them who are known for being humble and minor royal protocols.
Oh yes their official royal costume for the proclaimation was lovely but different than the other royals and their predecessors. Most royals wear golden yellow for such an important event.
