And that’s a wrap on SKY Castle! I cried so much in episode 20. Arguably the two last episodes were the best for me in the series… but maybe thats because we finally get that much needed conclusion, redemption and development of all the characters we love but also hate.
Although I won’t classify SKY Castle as one of my favorite dramas, I understand why it’s the most viewed drama in Korea. The plot was a bit too real for me at times, and near the 3/4 of the drama, I skipped an episode or two and felt like I didn’t miss out on ANY plot. Despite it all, The plot was riveting, real and the acting was amazing. What a great ensemble cast. What a great message. Not too mention one of the most iconic OSTs “We All Lie”.
and no, i wouldn’t say the message is love comes first (because all the parents were blinded by their love and greed which drove them to crazy lengths). It’s more like : do what makes you happy without hurting one another.
