Even though I’ve said Encounter was boring, I don’t regret watching it at all. It was 88% enjoyable (based on me powering through 14 episodes and skipping through chunks of 2 episodes before the finale) – solid love story, great friends and colleagues, supportive family (most of the time), minimal evil and political plot. I’m only disappointed that Woo Seok didn’t get much development and in the end he was still a sad lonely guy, not quite able to live his life the way he wants because of his mother. Hey..sounds like a plot for Encounter 2 – Woo Seok’s quest for happiness!
