Agreed. She actually reminds me a lot of my mom, which both makes me love her more and also breaks my heart a little.

I love how she’s got pride but isn’t proud (if that makes sense). She’s pragmatic and realistic about her situation, but she’s also got this spunk in her that makes her stand out. I love her little goofy quirks. I also love that she’s so proactive in changing her situation and taking her things into her own hands. I loved how she dealt with her idea being stolen — not by feeling sorry or wronged but by basically being like “That’s a shit thing to do, but c’est la vie”. I think that attitude comes from having once been a professional and also from being a mother.

I also love how they kind of did away with the whole being excited over having a badge/cards thing with her because she’s done this all before, but there was still a feeling of happiness to be holding those things again.

Absolutely!! I really wanted to do a post on her. Haven’t had the time.
It breaks my heart that she gave up her career for that scum. But well, we all make mistakes. I like how she didn’t dwell on her misery but tried to move on and make it on her own. She believes in her abilities and her smartness!!
But when shit hit the wall, she boldly walked into her friends house, all
Drenched and cold, and said I need to sleep here tonight.
I totally completely get her!!
Can’t wait for her to grow in her career.
