This may be TMI but I really enjoy wearing colourful, patterned, lacy, bras and undies. ^^;

As a kid, I wore whatever my mum got me – they were black, white and utterly boring pieces meant to be worn under the white shirts of school uniforms.

In uni, I went to buy them with my girlfriends – and suddenly the world of “innerwear” came alive with colours.

I’m a small, pretty standard chest size so I have little difficulty finding a good fit among many brands.

Over the years, the “innerwear” I purchased – especially my bras – became more expensive and more fancy.

Wearing it made me feel like I was doing something just for me. Even if one else could see it, I was fabulous and I knew it.

Sadly, since I started litigation, my daily wear has regressed to the white shirts of school uniforms the Courtroom, and my collection of beautiful bras has dwindled down to the last one.

I have little to no free time, and even less energy to go shopping for nice things, so I just order the plain, boring stuff online – at least I know it’s a guaranteed fit.

Please wait one more year, me! You’re nearly done with this field. One more year to go, and you can come alive again.

Love,
February 💕

Giiiiirl!!! You do you!!! Never be afraid to be you 😉😉 You were intricately and uniquely made and formed in the womb and no one else has the same bio make up as you or your own unique taste and choices in fashion (underwear included)—and anything else in life, for that matter—and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, and don’t allow anything in this world to change that unless it’s for self improvement.
Growing up, and growing up being the “girl with the disability” in the class and the black sheep in the family because of my disability, I was always already assumed to be different, but over the years—almost-28-years-young…. Just 2 more months!!— I’ve been able to embrace my “different-ness” and have grown to see that it’s good to be different, to have a voice set apart from everyone else, to shine my own light, to do my own thing—and be comfortable with it all— because it’s the differences in this world that actually stick out and get noticed, because everything else is just the same, routine—and dare I say— boring

*hugs* I really appreciate these positive words. I’ve had to change because it’s a hot country, we sweat a lot and white shirts can get transparent, BUT I agree with you. 💕 And I’m proud of you for being you. Not boring, one bit

I was part of a women’s prayer group once where we spent a whole evening discussing ~innerwear~

I had never thought it could be empowering, but to several of those admirable people it was. I always assumed (and still practice), that underwear is all about function. I’ve reached the point now where I just care about comfort, and I’m happy. But maybe I should buy something pretty for myself? *too much a cheapskate* *but maybe I should try*

Sorry if this was TMI of me as well 😅

Hahhaha I usually go for comfortable but pretty. There is a little lace here, some patterns over there – you’d be surprised at the variety. ^^; Also wohoo ~ I didn’t have such conversations until uni either. 😅😅 They ARE empowering

*considers for about two seconds if replying to this would be tmi* *oh what the hell*
Alas there is only one bra in the world that I have found that doesn’t consistently give me back ache, and it is very boring, and very expensive. However it’s also very practical and modest I have like 4 of them so it doubles a swim top. Because God only knows that finding anything that fits my body shape is a pain in not just the back!!!
I wish I liked pretty underwear but cotton and comfort is honestly more important… and sports bras don’t come in lace. But this is a cute post honestly and maybe I should buy a custom made corset hmmm.

    Joins you on the TMI.
They don’t make fancy (& affordable) lengerie for people with strange body proportions. So I’ve long given up on those lacy inners.
BUT that doesn’t stop me from admiring them.
So go G! One more year & you’ll get to feel fabulous again (you already are so more fabulous I guess).

I think Kris Jenner once said you should always wear a nice bra and undies (not necessarily lacy and fancy)because you never know if you will end in a emergency situation where doctors will have to cut your clothes off and you don’t want to embarrassed lol
