This may have been the only drama where I genuinely enjoyed LMH’s performance. Others I just felt like he was meh, but Faith was great. It was also one of my first dramas, and I still think of it fondly. The leads had fantastic chemistry and the political intrigue hit the right balance for most of the show. My only major quibble was when they did the poisoning thing a second time, because it just felt like the writer was stalling.

yup, thats exactly how i feel. I’m no LMH fan in general, but LMH as Choi Young is literally one of my favorite characters ever. The plot was a mess FOR SURE, but the characters saved it for me.
