Oh my GOSH. REALLY? He’s obviously not dead! We have five episodes left! You can’t kill both of them with five episodes left! I hate these kinds cliff(lol) hangers because they’re so stupid and unrealistic and then there’s the preview so you just frakking know anyway so what’s the point in trying to trick anyone? It’s just a cop out.
Also I am an A GRADE ASSHOLE FOR SAYING THIS but I kind of wanted the Queen to die by the end of this episode. I know, I changed my tune. But since she wasn’t doing anything else, it became my preferred option. Maybe not by suicide but still dead. Then the Clown would have something to be mad about. And maybe he’d actually do something even if it was emotionally react and do nothing he’s told and annoy the shit out of everyone including Secretary Lee, because I’m getting kind of tired of puppet Ha Seon even when he is occasionally rebellious.
But no, I have to buy the love story still and pretend I care about complex political plots instead. I’m just not engaged anymore. *assdfghjjkll*
Also are you telling me not even the Queen loved Yi Heon in the end? Holy Crivens that poor boy. I’m still mad. In case you couldn’t tell.
I think this show is very well shot, and very well acted, and the music is gorgeous and the cinematography wonderful but the writing does not hold up this far along. Surprise surprise.

I don’t know about directors, cinematographers, etc, but Korea plainly does not have enough *talented* writers to feed all their pretty actors.
