I was actually going to make this my last post and write something else for today, but I ran out of time so Iโ€™m going to share it tonight instead.
In an hr it will be Valentines day here. Not something I usually celebrate because Iโ€™m extremely single and always have been, but as previously mentioned, I like names. And their meanings and etymology. The study of first names is called โ€œanthroponomasticsโ€.
Valentine also happens to be the name of one of my OCโ€™s. He gets called Val mostly.
And since I canโ€™t really tell you about him without his other half, I shared the meaning of Halcyon too. Who is the complete opposite of her nameโ€™s most common meaning and modern usage.
They are the two written about in the concept I shared a few days ago. Theyโ€™re brilliant and wicked and hilarious and far more interested in science than romantic love, but have their own form of love anyway and I wish I could explain them better in words because I sometimes I wish they were real, but itโ€™s late and Iโ€™m tired so I *cnt exprss well* thus Iโ€™ll just share their pinterest board biosโ€“>
Halcyon: Half Greek, half Russian. Engineer, Polyglot, Planes. Curious to a Fault, Tinkerer. Her grandfatherโ€™s white silk scarf, aviator goggles, obscure metal band t shirts.
Valentine: Mathematician. Chess and Cynicism Master. Code Cracker, Puzzle and Problem Solver. Closet Concert Pianist. Black coats, black jeans, black shirts, black hair.

to names, and ocs, and origins.
โ€” love, february.
