It’s nice that IU has given a chance to be cast for this type of project. Interesting is the Collector but I kind of confuse what is happening. I don’t know if I understand it correctly.
I watched the first two. Is the collector the one with the hearts? I watched that and thought the girl was just evil. Collecting boys’ hearts for her own whimsy. Figuratively, the boys fall in love with her and then she dumps them. And then the boys are trapped in their own world which isn’t real at all. The love she gives is fake and she traps them in their own misconceptions. That end of the show with him in that box she gave him symbolized that. It was crazy.
I agree with all you said, but I also felt the girl was ruined herself by that guys=. It felt like the main guy had an image of her and he was getting mad at her for not living up to it. He was more in love with her image than her (pretty, young, carefree). In the beginning, she mentioned that she felt like disappearing in the water (synonym to losing her personality due to others expectations). I thought stealing his hurt and leaving him “empty” was her way of revenge
