He is Psychometric ep 13 discussion in the comments (bring tissues) 😭😭😭💔💔💔
I forgot to take any screenshots today, so I’m posting this instead since the tunnel scene reminded me of this tunnel. I wonder if it’s the same tunnel ๐Ÿค”

I haven’t watched yet. I think I’m gonna wait until tomorrow, so I can watch both episodes in one go.

Am I gonna be mad? I don’t wanna be mad.

Thanks for the tag! I see viki at 100% now off to watch!

I donโ€™t want to cry though? Whatever is gonna happen?

I have questions. I noticed so many dying flowers in this episode including what looked like a dying potted plant next to the bird cage (with the mysteriously still alive bird that wasn’t taken to Ye Eun’s aunt). So the flowers were Ji Soo and she kept Seong Mo from the dark side? If so then maybe he didn’t kill anyone yet or set fires, but he will now?

What’s the medication Seong Mo has been taking and the significance of throwing it away?

I’m going to be a little disappointed if this turns into a story that shows you’re doomed if one of your parents is a psychopath because you’ll become one too.

Wow! Today’s ep was brutal. It seemed so dumb the way JiSoo died. She should have been watching the actual murderer instead of trying to talk to Seong Mo. I can’t believe we’re going to have the last 3 eps without her 😭 Will we ever get an explanation of all the sunflower symbolism?

WTH?! Seong Mo was the one who killed the people and set the fire in the Yeongsang Apartment case?! I’m not sure whether Kang Geun Taek is a reliable source but Kang Eun Joo seems to think he is telling the truth. That would fit in with my theory that Jae In’s dad was covering for one of the kids but I wouldn’t think he would cover for Seong Mo if Seong Mo had even killed people. But, didn’t it show the killer and it was an adult? (I kinda skipped the backstory because it seemed too gory.)

Why is Kang Eun Joo lying about not having met Seong Mo?

When will the cute return? 😭😭😭

JiSoo dying was totally unneeded and just plain brutal. Poor girl deserved better. Am still trying to process it up till now. If Seong mo had anything to do with the Yeongsang apartment case then I’ll say he set the fire but i don’t think he killed those women. When the woman opened her door to whoever murdered her, she said “Ahjussi” that’s why i think it couldnt be seong mo.
Honestly am still just trying to recover from Jisoo

At first, I was hoping that maybe she would fake her death to get her dad to confess about not investigating properly but that didn’t happen 😭💔

Yeah, I hope Seong-mo only set the fire and not killed the women too.
I don’t want him to be a killer but when he said it’s too late for him to return, it seems he had killed someone. Argh… Like Lee An, I just don’t want to believe it.

I don’t understand what he wanted to use Lee Ahn for if he was the culprit. I thought initially he wanted Ahn’s help to find the real culprit but if it was him, that doesn’t make sense. And what did Geun Taek mean when he said Seong Mo had merely ‘tamed’ Ahn? So. Many. Questions.

          7
          3

yes, I think there is a missing piece that even SeongMo may or may not know of. There is a killer, then a body swapper, and a fire starter.

            6
            0

Tamed is from the book the Little Prince when he spent time with the lamb and the lamb then loved him. I haven’t read the book in years and don’t know where my copy is, but I think he is implying that Seong Mo just spent time with Lee Ahn to ‘tame’ him and make him loyal to his hyung. But he is totally wrong there because I think that Seong Mo really does love Lee Ahn.
Maybe the medication was to help stay in control – sort of like how medication helps a person who is bipolar stay away from the HIGHs and LOWs.
Ji Soos death was hard and doesn’t make sense, but now her mentee is now giving more information and even took part in the interrogation of Seong Mo’s mother.
Something is still off and I don’t know what – but am looking forward to and answers tonight.

Even setting the apartment on fire would be a terrible betrayal for Ahn and Jae In though. If that is the case and his parents died in the fire and her father lived all his life in jail as the culprit, then I really don’t see a redemption arc for Seong Mo.

        3
        1

I just can’t think of why else Jae In’s dad would be hiding the truth though.
I really hope the drama is able to answer all our questions satisfactorily. It has set up this great mystery and it will be awful if the solution doesn’t make sense.

It’s the worst possible combo of possibilities ever. JS dying and SM apparently the murderer-arsonist.
I really don’t want to believe it, but An did see the killer’s memories of impromptu stabbing lessons (I thought the young SM stabbing GT was just a dream An had but maybe not). Also at the Home care fire, he told EJ he wanted to try stabbing ppl like that. (If the subs were right). I thought he meant the right side similar to how he taught young SM.

But on the other hand, he did bring a cadaver to replace EJ with. So how did SM know that and was able to drag the body to the apartment and kill the others? It still doesn’t make sense. I feel GT was lying to hurt EJ. But also why would he like to the person he’s obsessed over his own Life? To become a slightly better person in her eyes? I don’t know.

And what about gab yong’s client? The one who ordered the women to be killed? Right now, it seems like it was SM but still I really hope it’s not him. Maybe it was his mother all along. I really hope that’s the case because otherwise it would be too cruel what SM did too An and JI. Trying to be good to them after destroying their families 😭

i would have been ok even if jisoo and seong mo didnt end up together, but killing jisoo and what for? how does her death move the story?wouldnt seong mo even be darker after losing one of the persons he had in his life.

WTF.. why.. I had this bad feeling and it came true.. I have paused it at 35th minute because I can’t.. I can’t..
and still they let the murderer escape.. all for nothing.
    ahhhhhhhh….

I can’t believe he got away after all that. Lee Ahn ran so hard to catch him and everything. I couldn’t believe the one officer said ‘Well, I would’ve been more careful if you told me he was dangerous.” Like what?! Shouldn’t he be assuming every person he arrests could be dangerous?! 🙄

      1

And there it is. The other shoe dropped.
In all this, it suddenly struck me that Lee Ahn was completely exposed. The two people who were protecting him – JiSoo and Hyung are not with him anymore. That felt so sad. Its like losing the people/elders you look upto in one evening.
Its all a giant mess now. With JiSoo dying I don’t see Hyung stopping. He has no reason to stop.
I just wanted all of them to find their peace and happiness. And look at this. What a mess.
Am so deflated…. not ready for tomorrow..

I’VE NEVER FELT SO BETRAYED IN MY WHOLE GOD DAMED LIFE! I just watched Possessed this week and then picked this because I thought it was a fluffy rom-com! Why dramaland gotta do my dirty like this???

I was really dissapointed when Ji Soo died. Just put her in a coma for several days and wake up later! She really doesn’t need to die. I mean Lee An was stabbed too but survived, why can’t she do the same?

And the twist about Sung Mo, argh I was really rooting for him to be a good guy. But I guess not. Poor Lee An with Ji Soo gone, and his hyung is the culprit behind his parents death, now he only has Jae In (and Dae Bong too).

Now, no matter what the ending will be, I don’t think I’ll be satisfied because I already picture another ending in my mind many episodes ago and it’s full of sunshine!

I think us beanies may need to rewrite the ending 😭💔

IKR? Look at how badly everyone got beaten up in Fiery Priest and a few days later they didn’t even have bruises! Maybe the South Korean medical system is much better when priests are involved. Sorry – but I too am hoping that maybe her death was faked…..

*heart breaks* Ji Soo, oh Ji Soo. I donโ€™t know what to do now that youโ€™re really gone……… How…….

I donโ€™t even want to know the story behind the sunflower necklace anymore. It is a tragic token for me no matter what.

Really sorry guys, I wish I could continue live watching with you and sharing theories, but I donโ€™t do well with deaths. I heavily invest my emotions into fictional characters I love and without Ji Soo, who is….. augh *cries* was my most favourite character in this drama, I cannot have the will to continue watching. My brain totally shut off when she was pronounced, and I suddenly didnโ€™t understand what I was watching. I will sadly halt this drama for now, and if she miraculously comes back from dead, maybe Iโ€™ll come back to it too. Her death was senseless and unnecessary. You will be greatly missed, Detective Meticulous.

Maybe it’s because I expected the episode to kill off someone that I didn’t feel as astounded and betrayed as you guys seem to be feeling (Thank you for the distressed cries @wakimary. The show did surprise me in who it killed but in retrospect it all kinda fits from a narrative perspective. I mean I am not saying that Ji Soo being killed is a good thing but that actually means that the writers are not shying away from showing that we are dealing with monsters here and how it is not a fluff show (I would have loved a simple fluff for sure though!)

But Ji Soo was always the person who believed in Lee Ahn… So she is like the Dumbledore to his Harry Potter (I am a potterhead through n through). Her dying is gonna catapult him into more action.. Again not saying that it was absolutely necessary but I see the reasoning. Kinda. I still cried. But as the ep progressed, I came to terms with it all…

The hyung being the actual culprit of the Apartment fire is tbh still suspect for me. This could all be a way for Kang Geun Taek to make the mother believe that her escape from the basement was all in vain as the son ended up being a monster either way. The whole nature vs nurture thing comes to play here. Also hyung had already told Lee Ahn that his power is not complete because he just sees half the picture and it’s not necessary that what he sees is the whole truth.

Can I still somehow hope that Ji Soo’s father commanded the doctor to pronounce her dead so that she can….umm… okay I don’t even have a valid hypothesis here but how I wish she were alive. She was such a sunshine. (which reminds me, nothing on the sunflower pendant front either. But then does it mean she “tamed” Seung Mo? Or was it living with Ahn? Cuz Kang Geun Taek did hint at how if he didn’t change, then the effect on Seong Mo must have come from somewhere other than the mother)

Anyway, too many theories in my mind and all just half baked.
SHOW! What have you done??? I was hoping for a mystery resolution in 2 eps and then fluff but I don’t see fluff coming anytime soon :(((

I was glad that beanies had been theorising that Ji Soo would die because otherwise I would’ve been caught completely off guard and would’ve been very shocked. I’m also still trying to figure out a way for it to make sense for her to fake her death but so far, I’ve got nothing 😢
That’s a good point about Ahn’s powers being incomplete. Although his skills have improved a lot since the first ep when all he could see was underwear sizes 😂 I wonder what pieces of the puzzle he is still not able to see.

Raonah, we NEED our alternate ending. I’m even down with Jisoo not ending up with Seongmo but she needs to live in our own ending.

I agree that we don’t have enough information yet to know what Seung Mo did – whether he killed the women and set the fire.

Hi Muchie (@obsessedmuch) I was still so mad after waking up this morning just remembering ep 13, I couldn’t even watch with subs.

after all the shots that sunflower necklace got,I expected Jisoo to get hurt but not dying!

I am really interested to see how the writers justify her death. Even I saw this as a biggest influence on Lee An. Firstly he thinks he put her there. And she was the one protecting him from everyone. Hiding his skills but yet helping him hone them.
From what we saw he is angry, guilty and cautious of Hyung. His powers also seem to have improved in this desperation. He was able to read a lot more from Hyungโ€™s belongings.

We now have Nam detective (nose picker) who brings his experience to the table. But Lee An needs to find his role:purpose. Stand on his own.
I really donโ€™t know what to expect in the next 3 episodes. I have run out of theories.

I am so heartbroken for Jisoo. But I got that sinking feeling the moment her father did no want to listen to her about reopening the apartment case.

Regarding Sung mo possible be the one putting the building on fire. If he ever did it, I canยดt belive he did it with intent. So It could have been an accident… Maybe he wanted to protect his mother from Kang Geun tae. consider there is still puzzle pieces missing I hope he is not the one murdering those woman, but that there is another explanation.

I got all caught up to the live episodes this past week and then we get this😭. I really liked Ji-soo and wanted to see more of her kicking the bad guys butts. I didn’t see a direct spoiler, but even through the fast scrolling, I knew something like this would happened. Still, I teared up when everyone else bawled. I am really excited for what knew reveals will come up though, and I haven’t felt like this from a drama in a while. I need answers because Hyung is not like totally evil right?! He wanted to hurt the man that hurt his mom, but that’s just it right?!!

    1
    1

I liked Ji Soo a lot too 😭 She was so awesome 💔
I have no idea what is going to happen next. Writernim has really made it hard to predict. I hope hyung isn’t evil. Sometimes I think even hyung doesn’t know whether he is good or evil.

      1
      1

Hyung is a mystery which is why he is interesting since we don’t know who he truly is. I like that in the beginning we found out Ahn really couldn’t read him, but Hyung left a trail behind. So many puzzle pieces and I want to see the puzzle already!

        1
        1

I wonder why hyung is leaving them clues. It seems like someone (was it Ji Soo?😢💔) had mentioned that maybe hyung wanted Ahn to stop him from doing something bad.

          1
          1

Jisoo did mention that and I think it was because she knew about the notebook and Hyung keeping track of all of Ahn’s psychometry progress. Oooo, maybe he will let Ahn read him properly once before the drama ends to clear up loose ends?!

I saw the episode 13 spoiler and I was “prepared”. Nope. It was devastating.

I’m off to watch episode 14 now. So many questions to be answer still.
