So BTS won top social artist and they presented the award to them on the red carpet… it was so anticlimactic

Awards themselves have become sort of anticlimactic and seem like a thing that the artists/actors/actresses attend only out of courtesy now

Courtesy and probably because the studios can blacklist them from projects if they don’t

Hmmmm…. It depends on where the boundaries are set, and by whom (who has the final say), for award shows (maybe the award show producers and sponsors??), but I’m pretty sure the broadcasting networks can’t blacklist artists

Maybe blacklist was too strong of a word but you sure aren’t doing yourself any favors. Kinda how a good chunk of Korean award shows seem to have that no show, no award policy.

Yea =( And it’s not like music award shows where the artists and fans boycott the awards and then try to make everything better by rearranging and re-branding the awards and award categories… Or can they??? Hmmm….
The first thing that comes to mind is MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards)

    ….on the red carpet? Why?

They won best group! I had a feeling they would since they gave the social award on the red carpet

I read that the TSA is usually presented during the red carpet…that changed when the boys won last 2017. I’m guessing since BB knows they will win the Top Group, there was no need to present it during the show.

I was shocked when I woke up, they already won TSA
