Wall-to-wall.

So the mis-ter-understanding. At first I was annoyed that the guys were talking for Deok Mi as she hid behind Eun Ki. But then I can accept the K-drama plot that Eun Ki was protecting Deok Mi as fangirl She An is My Life and the fact that she didn’t want to be found out. And Eun Ki could use that as an excuse to keep Ryan at bay. Poor Eun Ki’s bro/lover struggle, I feel for him and love that he mustered up the courage to make the distinction even if he didn’t get the proper chance. It’s hard to watch, because I love Deok Mi and Ryan together. Really, it’s an understandable mess up. So the age-old question: can men and women just be friends?

And Ryan figured out quick why she was hiding. I love this man so much.

Yeah, men and women can be platonic and friends. Eun gi is not even close to me questioning them being together. He had chance after chance after Ryan arrived. He just pissed that Doek-mi has real desires and they are not for that idol dude.

      PREACH!
As a real “friend,” he should respect Deok-mi’s feelings and be happy her, even though they might not be directed towards him.

He had his chance and never took it. But even if he had, we know DK would’ve rejected him anyways. What really holds him back is his own fear, and I think that’s what he’s truly unconsciously mad about.

I’m dreading that even after she explicitly rejects him, he’ll go on about “not giving up on her.” 😒
Like, a rejection is not an invitation to prove yourself otherwise. No means NO, but so many k-drama characters, especially men, don’t get it!

Did you see his face when Ryan called her by her fan girl name. That smugness of bragging about knowing everything about her went out the window. Yep, her man knows and does not care and is crazy about her anyway. He is gonna get desperate and he is gonna guilt her and it’s gonna be BS.

I have no expectations for him. I bet he’ll be written off by pairing him with Choi Da-in or something cliche like that.

Doek mi needs to cut him off and only see him at family functions. He does not have any sense of boundaries and that will not change because he has not been told to or allowed.

@yuyuu “…a rejection is not an invitation to prove yourself otherwise.”

        Exactly!

Yes. Definitely yes. It’s so sad that many people in the world still think this cannot happen.
