I started liking it once Se-yeon took over Mi-do’s life and meets the police detective ex-bf. Because then there was a Scooby Gang and a great moment when Se-yeon insists on driving the police car.
Just to warn you: ep 2 wasn’t great – especially a couple of side characters commenting on Park Bo-Young’s character not being beautiful or pretty enough to date someone like Ahn Hyo-seop really rubbed me the wrong way. As if it’s all about looks! Plus, if they wanted her character not to be beautiful, they should have picked another actress, instead of having all characters around her comment on how not-pretty she is.
Anyway. Ep 3 was much better. They styled her more like ‘ordinary girl’ and her character is so hilariously kick-ass that I couldn’t help enjoying it.
A friend at work just wandered over a little while ago and told me she was watching Abyss and enjoying it a lot. I’ll probably start it tomorrow since I can’t watch too many episodes of Confession one after the other.

I wasn’t sure about eps 1 & 2 of Abyss, but ep 3 redeemed itself by giving me a Scooby Gang Love Triangle.

Really? I’ve been putting off episode 2, but Scooby Gangs are one of my favorite things.

I was waiting to start it until I had four episodes. And now I definitely will.
