Having watched a ton of dramas, I tend to appreciate the subversion of hackneyed tropes. When a good drama subverts these tropes, it becomes that much more special for doing so.
One of the most satisfying ones for me was in the Korean version of “Fated To Love You” *SPOILER* when they made fun of the amnesia trope, gave it to the male lead, but made the best of it and didn’t drag it out
No, it was just such a hyped up drama at the time of its airing that I thought many people had watched it, just like DOTS, but I guess I could say that the same actually goes for DOTS— it was such a big drama and had so much hype, yet, to this day, I haven’t watched it, nor do I plan to do so 😅
