I understand why some Beanies felt ‘robbed’ of a sexy scene in the end of ep 14 of HPL. Reading your comments I felt it too. But now that I have seen the episode I kinda liked it. I like how they are focussing on their growth as a couple and their mutual support of each other. And honestly having a sex scene in ep 14 will just be reminiscent of WWWSK. And WWWSK didn’t end that well for some of us.

It is better this way. I think.

Agreed. I’m happy to not see a wedding or children either.

I’m one of those beanies who felt robbed, but I totally agree with you as well.
I personally just found it kind of contrived that they’re getting intimate JUST when he’s starting to recover his artistic abilities… and for me the question was, if they’re doing it now, why not make it hot? (The show certainly set those expectations for itself).

Yes I can understand that. We still have 2 more episodes *fingers crossed*

The build up to it was incredibly romantic imo to the point where I’d realized sex in kdramas is always shown as a product of lust or passion between a couple rather than pure love like it was here. I think it was appropriate given the very comforting and intimate nature their relationship had taken (and the intensity of that moment)

Lmao tbh I feel like comparisons with WWWSK were bound to be made given it’s PMY and tvN and it hasn’t even been a year. But both couples are very different. I know this drama has a rep for being ‘steamy’ but that’s actually not true because besides a first hot makeout session all their interactions have been rather sweet than ‘hot’ (on the other hand, WWWSK had a lot if not all lustful kisses) The bed scenes in both dramas justified the kind of relationship that was being portrayed on screen.

I just think KJW and PMY have such powerful onscreen chemistry their every interaction leaves us screaming for more. There’s so much potential and that’s why viewers feel robbed.

Who knows what the next episodes bring? But that being said I will be happy even without. Just like you said the love they portrayed here feels so pure that maybe we don’t need to pry on their more intimate moments. That sleeping scene with her wearing his shirt was proof enough.

    I completely agree with you.

Also, it might just be me, but him sliding that paintbrush out of her hair? That did much more for me than a make-out ever could. That was a clever, subtle way for them to take the scene to a more sensual place without interfering with the intimacy and emotion of the moment. I loved it.
