        I’ve got one stray cat at home. What if my stray cat walks away if I pick up another one? What does the handbook say?

        Right. So I am meant to meow back to my cats instead of using a mushy human voice? Got it!

        And also what does the book say about cats not actually meowing but chirping? My extra large black cat chirps 🤔

          The Book says: “A cat has nine lives.”
          “If you cat chirps during the day, there is a likelihood that your cat was a bird in one of its previous lives.”
          “If your cat chirps during the night, it was likely one of the following nocturnal animals:
          A frog
          A toad
          A flying squirrel
          A bat
          A gecko – take note that its chirp is the mating call.”

          I hope that helps. Large black cat eh? It was probably a bat before.

            Thank you very much for the detailed information you have provided here. Lots of unanswered questions have been answered.

            Previously when I had questioned my cat about his chirping behaviour all I got were googgly eye stares, a head bump and some more chirping.

    Well I missed this- but happy belated Errand Boy to you! I brought home three stray cats many years ago and had many many long years with them.
    I cat-sat one annoying little pussy (Sweet Pea was her name) for a YEAR and when her owner didn’t come back to get her I knew why. So I made her husband’s son come get him.
    I cried for a day missing her and got over it.
