All three dramas I’m watching right now are either women-centric or its the women holding my attention. I could not be happier. A post to celebrate!
1. WWW: I mean, surely this stands for Women Women Women? I can’t remember the last time I loved an episode as much as I loved Ep 5.
2. One Spring Night. Fine there’s Yoo Ji-ho, but the sisters and their story lines are at least as relevant to the plot of this show as Jeong-in & Ji-ho. This is a world of real people and full characters and everyone matters.
3. Angel’s Last Mission: Love. Lee Yeon-seo/Shin Hye Sun is fantastic and is the reason I’m watching this. I dont know what else is happening here but she’s phenomenal.
I just want to watch WWW and Angel only for the ladies but then other stuff happens and my mind blows away and I get super annoyed. But I want to watch it also, maybe I should ff everything in these shows other than a few scenes, oh god!
Only in One spring night I have no complains about anything!
You’re doing WWW an injustice. 😁 I love it, and it’s portrayal of women so far has been awesome. There were hiccups but it’s more or less on track so far.
It’s not possible to complain about anything in One Spring Night. Which is simply phenomenal.
I have a lot of complains to WWW and then I *whispers : hate * JKY in his role here, it feels forced and so unnatural and ok stop, we talk about women,
I love both the female leads, can’t I ship them? OKay I will pick it up back for them, only them and greenie!
Lol that’s why I say there were hiccups. It depends on how it goes from here on, but at least the latest episode was fine re JKY. He’s starting to make sense.
I just watched the latest episode of ALML- I went on a roller coaster of emotions with Yeon Seo because SHS is so so good. I love the part where she knew that Dan was going to leave her, even for a while. She’s the reason why I am still watching.
She needs to be in a drama worthy of her talent.
I can overlook L for all his shortcomings plus in my likely biased opinion, he’s doing fine. Not always on point but works somehow. LDG looks like he is sleepwalking sometimes, i know he can do better.
What really bothers me is the writing. Don’t get me started. But one thing they did well is Yeon Seo’s character and lines.
Agreed – I just finished WWW ep 5 and was blown away by just how awesome it was!!!
The romance and that actor do nothing for me but WOMEN POWER!
ALML – I will admit to crying a bit through the children/adult interactions. L needs more acting experience – but Shin Hye-sun carries everyone else and so I still like him.
Don’t have time to add One Spring Night to my schedule. Maybe on my vacation next month?
WWW has some AMAZING moments regarding the women which is why i keep watching, but also I have no patience for Park Morgan. I want to send him off in a plane to the US nobody needs him.

I haven’t picked up WWW yet. I was going to and then wasn’t going to and now I think I am? Ignore the plot and enjoy the lack of pot plants.

No pot plants yet. It’s not flawless, but it’s attempting something unusual for drama land, and doing pretty well imho

Yes, I will do that now and attempt to watch both the shows again.

I think the only thing that is annoying me in WWW is the romance story, oh and the weird lighting.

Yes, I think it’s something like that. Shin Hye-sun acts and stuff happens. I’m watching for her acting jahaja

Hear hear. Frankly this role called for someone of her talent but I do wish the rest of it had kept up with her nuance and depth.

L works here! I think he’s perfect for the role. (Out-acted by Shin Hye-sun yes, but otherwise perfect) LDG is missing the mark somehow.
